UNIT 1:-NETWORK ANALYSIS:- Voltage & current sources and their transformation,Kirchoff’s law, Mesh and nodal system of network equations and their comparison(with dependent and independent sources),Graph of network, The incident matrix, Fundamental circuit functions, Cut set-out set analysis, Node and node pair analysis,Duality,Method of obtaining, Dual network.

UNIT 2:-Network theorems:- Thevenin’s, Norton’s, Superposition, Compensation, Miller’s Milliman’s, Telligen’s & Maximum power transfer, Network with dependent sources.

UNIT 3:-Transient analysis:-
Impulse step, ramp & sinusoidal response analysis of 1st & 2nd order circuit, Time domain & transfer domain (frequency), Laplace analysis, Initial &final value theorem.

UNIT 4:-Coupling:- element&couple circuit, Conductivity, Coupled circuit, Mutual inductance, Co-efficient of coupling, Inductance between portion of same circuit, Conductivity, and parallel resonance, Q-factor and relation to band-width

UNIT 5:-NETWORK FUNCTION:-Terminal & terminal pairs ,Driving point impedance ,Transfer  function ,Pole &,Restriction pole –zero location in s- plane, Pole zero & frequency response pole zero & impulse step, Response procedure of finding network function for general two terminal pair network, Stability & casualties, Hurwitz polynomial, Positive real function.

UNIT6:- TWO PORT NETWORK:- Two port parameters and their Z-parameter, Y-parameter, H-parameter, ABCD parameter, Equivalence of two port transformer equivalent, Inter-connection of two port network, Image parameter, & Phase shift unsymmetrical T & network.

UNIT7:-NETWORK SYNTHESIS:
Synthesis of passive one port network, Properties of reactive network, Poster and cauer’s synthesis procedure for R-L,R-C&L-C circuit,
