UNIT 2:-TIME DOMAIN ANALYSIS:-
Time domain performance criterion,Transient response of first,second,Steady state error static error constant in unity feed acknowledge system,Error criteria.

UNIT 3:-FREQUENCY DOMAIN ANALYSIS:-
Polar,Inverse polar plots,Frequency domain specifications,Logarithmic plots,Bode plots,gain & phase margin.

UNIT 4:-CONCEPTS OF STABILITY:-
Asymptotic&conditional stability,Rout hurwity criteria,Inquest stability criteria,Rot locus plots&application.

UNIT 5:-COMPENSATION TECHNIQUES:-
Conceptofcompensationlag,Leadnetwor PD,PID controllers non linear systems:-Linearization techniques of non linear systems,Phase plane & describing function.

UNIT 6:-STATE VARIABLE ANALYSIS:-
Introduction to state variabla concepts,Representation in matrix form,Transition matrix&time response.

UNIT:1- POWER SYSTEM Network:
Basic structure of power system,Over head & under ground systems, Overhead line conductors, Transmission lines voltage,*conductors, Choice of economic voltage,Transmission network in India conductor efficiencies for various systems, Conductor size & Kelvin’ law.

Unit:2- :-LINE PARAMETER:-
Introduction,Line resistance inductance basic concept,inductance of a conductor due to Internal & external flux,Inductance of a * phase line, Inductance of composite conductor line ,Self & mutual G.M.D inductance of 3-lines symmetrically & un-symmetrically  spaced Transposed line(bundled conductors), Inductance interference of lines.Capacitance of 1&3 lines, Effect of earth capacitance & charging  current of double circuit line.Phenomenon & formation of corona, Electric stress distrutive & visual critical voltage power loss due to corona resistance & effective resistance , skin effect & proximity effect.

UNIT:3-:-MECHANICAL DESIGN OF OVER HEAD LINES:
Calculation of sag, Effect of ice loading & wind pressure, Stringing chart conductormaterial interference between power communication lines. Introduction:Electromagnetic Induction, Electrostatic induction ,Reduction of interference.Line insulators: Pin & suspension type pf insulator & their comparision * distribution over a string of insulators.
