MACHINES :- three phase induction motors types and constructional features,production of rotating magnetic field,torque development,steady state characteristics,phasor diagram,equivalent circuit,estimation of performance,methods for speed control,starting methods,staters and brakings

Types and constructional features,Elementary ideas about winding.EMF calculation,Factor affecting EMF,Open circuit,Short circuit characteristics,Voltage regulation and its determination by synchronous impedance method.
